Funeral Services for Andy Griego, 76, of Grants, New will be held Friday-December 23, 2005-10:00 AM at the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Grants, New Mexico. Father Matthew Keller will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
A rosary will be recited on Thursday-December 22, 2005-7:00 PM at the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mr Griego was born December 11, 1929 in Sena, New Mexico and passed away on December 17, 2005 2005 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a retired Uranium Miner.
He is survived by his wife: Alice Rivera Griego of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Patsy Trujillo of Grants, New Mexico, Shirley and husband, Tommy Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico, Lisa and husband, Teddy Gonzales of San Rafael, New Mexico, Lilly and husband, Johnny Melonas of San Rafael, New Mexico, and Tonya and husband, Edward Smith of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Brother Alex Griego of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Brother in Law: Aurelio Zamora of Barstow, California; Grandchildren: Michelle Trujillo, Julie Trujillo, Andrea Gonzales, Janelle Stricland, Michael Garcia, Cheryl Garcia, Tracey Gonzales, Matthew Gonzales, Samuel Gonzales, Jessica Melonas, Boudy Melonas, Monique Melonas, Heather Melonas, Brittany Melonas, Desiree Melonas, Alisha Smith, Amanda Smith, Darrell Alire, Steve Alire, Erica Gonzales and Chris Gonzales; and 18 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Fidencio and Pablita Salazar Griego; daughter: Darlene and husband Steve Alire; Brother: Elieso Griego and sister Mary Zamora and a son-in-law: Mike Trujillo.
Pallbearers will be: Michael Garcia, Jr., Boudy Melonas, Samuel Gonzales, Matthew Gonzales, Edward Smith, Darrel Alire, Lillian Griego, Richard Augilar.
Honorary Pallbearers will be:Ferman Lopez, Richard Baca, all nieces and nephews.
