Funeral Services for Alyce R. Johnson 74, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-July 17, 2012-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held on Monday-July 16, 2012-4:00PM till 7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Alyce was born on October 20, 1937 in Acoma, New Mexico and she passed away on July 13, 2012 in Grants, New Mexico.
She is survived by her children: Daisy Akoul and husband Jack of Florida, Clifford Johnson and wife Treva of Acoma, New Mexico, Stanley Johnson and wife Sandra of Milan, New Mexico, Carl Johnson and wife Annette of North Carolina, Kathryn Boyce of Grnats, New Mexico and Ilene James and husband Peter Ray of Prewitt, New Mexico; Brothers: Stanley Chavez and wife Lorie of Arizona, Vincent Chavez of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Velma Dees and husband Phil of Grants, New Mexico; 27 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Sister: Judy Chavez and Niece: Janet Chavez.
Pallbearers will be: Carl Johnson, Clifford Johnson, Stanley Johnson, John Boyce, Clinton Vicente and Leo Valdez.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Stanley Chavez, Vincent Chavez, Peter Ray James, Chad Thiel, Chad Pilkerton and Justin Chavez.
