Services for Alva J. Williams, Sr., 80, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-January 5, 2008-10:00 AM at the Olinger Andrews Funeral Home in Castel Rock, Colorado. Burial will follow at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock, Colorado.
Mr. Williams was born on September 30, 1927 in Greenland, Colorado and passed away on December 31, 2007 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a veteran of the US Military.
He is survived by his children: Joy DeBerry of Grants, New Mexico, Donald Williams of Loveland, Colorado and Wanda Kapetzky of Bluewater Village, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Maria J. Williams; Parents: Willie D. Willisma and Iva Pearl Williams; Son: Alva Joe Williams, Jr.
