Services for Allen Bratzel, 63, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-June 27, 2008-10:30 AM at the Grace Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Dale Thatcher will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Thursday-June 26, 2008-5:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church.
Allen was born on January 6, 1945 in Bismarck, North Dakota and passed away on June 21, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a military policeman at White Sands.
He was a long time resident of Grants and attended the Grace Baptist Church with his family.
Allen loved to stay at home and be with his family. He loved to camp, fish, and hunt.
He is survived by his loving wife: Marline Bratzel of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Ginger Ann Bratzel and husband Ronald Tomlinson of Socorro, New Mexico and James Allen Bratzel and wife Melody of Grants, New Mexico; Brother: Ken Bratzel and wife Midge and children of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Grandchildren: Kami Bratzel, Kaci Bratzel and Kolton Bratzel of Grants, New Mexico, Weston Tomlinson and Brynn Tomlinson of Socorro, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Ernest Bratzel and Anna Voegel Bratzel.
Pallbearers will be: Ronald Tomlinson, Darryl Hampton, Jimmy Grinder, Toni Boyd, Nolan Hite, Lee Hite.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: James Oldfield, Alfred Hite, Harold Hampton and Johnny Grinder.
