Rosary and Funeral Mass for Alicia Pena 76 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-May 2, 2011-9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avilla will be the Celebrant.
Alicia was born on March 21, 1935 in Guadalupe, Zacateca, Mexico and she passed away on April 27, 2011 in Grants, New Mexico.
She had made her home in Grants for the last 48 years. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and Aunt.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years: Fermin Pena of Grants, New Mexico; Sisters: Sophia Madrigal of Los Angeles, California, Teresa Apodaca of Grants, New Mexico and Celia Martinez of Albuqueruqe, New Mexico; Brothers: Antonio Becerra and Juan Manuel Becerra both of Guadalupe, Zacatecas, Mexico and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her daughter: Esperanza Pena; Parents: Manuel Becerra and Augustina Becerra (DeLaRosa) and sisters: Esperanza Hernandez, Beatriz Serrano and Maria Becerra.
Pallbearers will be: Linda Apodaca, Jesus Apodaca, Joe Rodriguez, Johnny Apodaca, Luis Madrigal and Eugene Pena.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Aurelio Apodaca, Joe Apodaca and Julian Apodaca.
