Rosary and Funeral Mass for Agapita "Baca" Apodaca 93 of San Rafael, New Mexico will be held on Friday-August 5, 2022-9:30 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Rafael Community Cemetery.
Agapita was born on February 9, 1929 in Cubero, New Mexico and she passed away at her home in San Rafael on July 31, 2022 surrounded by family and friends.
She lived a long great 93 years. Everyone who knew her as Nana Pita. She was kind, Loving, Caring, Giving, Thoughtful, and love by so many. She enjoyed being with family, her grandkids, cooking, traveling and going to church. Her faith with God was so important to her, she loved to pray her rosary and she did it daily. She had a heart of Gold and will be truly missed by so many. She was loved so much and we will always cherish all the memories made with her.
She is survived by her children: Johny Apodaca and wife Vernoica Medina, Nestor Apodaca and wife Eloisa Pohl, Joe Apodaca and wife Theresa; sister: Pillar Garcia, Libby Montoya; 9 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Loving Husband: Aurelio C. Apodaca; Son: Michael Apodaca; Daughter: Lupe Jaramillo; Parents: Salamon Baca and Josefita Baca; Brother: Max Baca; Sister: Maggie Montoya
Pallbearers will be: Eugene Barela, Eddie Ross, Eric Garcia, Larry Apodaca, James Valenzuela, Jr., Michael Valenzuela
