Funeral Services for Adela Torrez of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-May 22, 2013-11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church on Mountain Road, Grants, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Rev. Victor Grafe will officiate.



Adela was born on November 24, 1923 in Gallup, New Mexico and she passed away on May 17, 2013 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.



She is survived by her children: Bennie Torrez and wife Mary of Phoenix, Arizona, Prescilla Marquez and husband Onie of Grants, New Mexico, Ro Ornelas and husband Rolf of Edmond Oklahoma, Diane McDowell and husband Roy of Grants, New Mexico, Deb Jaramillo of Cincinnati, Ohio; Son-in-law: John Griego of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Johnny Gabaldon of Grants, New Mexico and Ruben Gabaldon of Grants, New Mexico; Sisters: Bennie Gallegos of Grants, New Mexico and Priemia Hayes of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchild.



She is preceded in death by her Husband Tomas Torrez; Daughter: Mary Jane Griego; Parents: Antonio Gabaldon and Aurelia Sandoval Gabaldon.



Pallbearers will be: Kevin Ornelas, Mike Marquez, Troy McDowell, Amanda Jaramillo, Kory Jaramillo, Tomas Griego.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Stephen Floyd, Cody Ornelas, Christian Ornelas, Brianna Marquez, Mackenzie Griego, Tomie Barker, Dyonne Sedillos, Leisha Sedillos, JoDee Sedillos, Adrian Minnis, Jeremy Ornelas, Chelsea Vigil-Ballew, Austin Smith, Liam McArthur and Galen Hoffman.
