As a child growing up in New Mexico, Manuel felt a strong calling to serve his community in any way possible. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served honorably for the next ten years. After leaving the Coast Guard, he began working in New Mexico and Colorado in the funeral services industry as a funeral director and care worker. Manuel carries the same sense of duty he did serving his country as he does every individual family he serves. He is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner as recognized by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. Manuel is also a Certified Cremation Service Provider and a Certified Preplanning Consultant, as recognized by the National Funeral Directors Association. He holds an Associate Degree in Funeral Services from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service (Houston, TX), a Master of Science Degree in Quality Systems Management from the National Graduate School (Falmouth, MA), a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College (Albany, NY) and was a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security. Manuel also enjoys the opportunity to instruct future funeral service professionals as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.

Madison has always been a beacon of compassion and respect, having been raised in a family of eight siblings and instilled with the importance of family from a young age. After her family relocated to Cibola County in 2011, Madison has made a conscious effort to contribute to her community through volunteering for park and residential clean-ups and showing kindness to everyone she comes across. She has spent the past four years working as a Nanny and Customer Service Associate, taking great pleasure in helping others with empathy and care, traits that have been a part of her character since childhood. At Mt. Taylor Funerals and Cremations, we are honored to be able to serve the residents of Western New Mexico with the utmost respect and understanding.

Kody is a lifelong resident of Cibola County. He attended Grants High School and later served proudly as correctional officer for Cibola County Correctional Center and Cibola County Detention Center and Northwest New Mexico Correctional facility. after serving as a corrections officer kody then found a love for serving his community in their time of need. Kody is a devoted family man and loves to serve his community. He is passionate about providing families with the highest level of care and support during the funeral home process. He believes in creating meaningful experiences, celebrating life and honoring those who have gone before us. He is deeply committed to providing quality, compassionate services to all families. In addition to his work at the funeral home, Kody also volunteers his time in the community, helping those in need and giving back to the community in any way he can. He is truly dedicated to the families and friends he serves.Kody plans to serve the Cibola County community for the rest of his life, providing quality and compassionate services with respect and dignity. He is committed to creating meaningful experiences and honoring those who have gone before us. He is proud to be part of the Mt.
